Some important information:

- Performances: Performances will pop up throughout the event, you can freely walk around or follow our above schedule.

- Most of the performances will take place between 18:00-22:00 and we will end the night with drinks and music. 🎶

- Food: We have our local chef Abel who will be serving a variety of pizzas, so make sure to have dinner with us! 🍕

Cristina Commisso has worked with companies in New York, Germany and the Netherlands, including Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, before starting her career as a freelancer.

Her solo project She Opened Her Clenched Fist and Fell Into the Midst of Everything, supported by the Senator für Kultur in Bremen, grew into a short film that was screened at several international film festivals, including in Brussels and London. She is currently working with Cocoon Dance.

🎶 New artist on the line-up! Lluïsa, a talente

🎶 New artist on the line-up! Lluïsa, a talented cellist currently pursuing her Master’s in performance at Codarts Rotterdam, will be performing at Doorloop on 27 September. 🎻

With a rich background studying under Josep Bassal and Paulo Gaio Lima, her artistic journey includes composing the soundtrack for A la recerca del jo (2018) and performing in El nostre llarg silenci.

Sebastian van der Born’s work combines digital and physical spaces to create an immersive experience. He studied at the St. Joost School of Art & Design in Breda and worked with visual artist Noralie for well-known artists such as Philipp Thimm (Apparat), and for the Van Gogh Museum.

About the artists:
⭐ ⁠Heidi Vierthaler is a choreographer and dancer who has performed with international companies such as Ballet Gothenburg and Ballet Frankfurt under William Forsythe, and has created work for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam.
⭐ ⁠Cristina Commisso, after working with companies in New York, Germany, and Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, developed a solo project that became a short film shown at international festivals, and is currently collaborating with Cocoon Dance.
⁠⭐ Sebastian van der Born merges digital and physical spaces in his immersive art. He studied at the St. Joost School of Art & Design in Breda and worked with visual artist Noralie for well-known artists such as Philipp Thimm (Apparat) and for the Van Gogh Museum.

A little throwback to last July when it was the first edition of 'doorloop'. This new 'Friday after work drinks - with art' concept was received with great enthousiasm and we were totally sold out! So..... guess what? The second edition will take place very soon!

About two weeks ago we celebrated the first editio

About two weeks ago we celebrated the first edition of Doorloop @ Baanhof! We had some time to recover, savor the memories, and even discuss our plans for the upcoming edition! With a whopping 175 visitors, we were totally sold out and loved seeing all the happy faces catching up with friends, having a drink, and enjoying the work from the artists.

We want to thank everyone involved, as we couldn’t have asked for a more passionate, involved, and kick-ass team!!!
